Our history

Launched in 2006, priceyourmeal.com is the brainchild of Sukhvir Dhillon, who at that time was working as Director of Operations for Europe's largest chain of Indian Restaurants (17 in total). Having spent a number of years working at all levels in the restaurants and at the chain's Head Office, he became extremely frustrated at the high cost and low returns provided by other advertising media, he started work on a site that would be extremely cost effective for restaurants, whilst being fun to use for its users.

Priceyourmeal.com was launched to much critical acclaim and is now changing the way people are eating out. We put our users in control and let them determine how much they pay for their meals at top restaurants. Since our initial launch in Glasgow, we have successfully ran over 150,000 auctions and saved our customers thousands of pounds on their dining bills.

February 2007 saw the site launch in Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh and in March 2008, we launched our successful formula in London. We believe in constant innovation and since launching the site with only the auctions, we have added a fantastic online booking service and a state-of-the-art online planner.
